According to BlockBeats, on September 20, Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 Corp. announced the expansion of its cooperation with Bitmain Technology to launch the next-generation ASIC mining machine U3S21EXPH. Hut 8 plans to deploy the model through a hosting agreement with 15 exahash per second in the second quarter of 2025, leveraging internally developed custom data center infrastructure.
The initial agreement allegedly includes about 15 EH/s and is expected to increase the hash rate managed by Hut 8 from 18.5 EH/s to about 33.5 EH/s, an increase of 80%. As of press time, the price of Hut 8 stock (ticker: HUT) is up more than 7%.
