Revelo Intel CEO resigns after being robbed at gunpoint and losing company funds

According to BlockBeats, on September 9, Cointelegraph reported that Nick Drakon, former CEO of Revelo Intel, a cryptocurrency research and education platform, posted on social media on September 5 that he was recently robbed at gunpoint by a “highly professional” gang and was forced to transfer personal, company and investor funds, and then announced his resignation.

Drakon said the robbers were particularly interested in crypto assets and knew the deposit addresses of the crypto business he operated, and took away his personal funds, Revelo’s operating funds, retained earnings, and funds from the company’s investment arm, Revelo Ventures. He suspected that someone inside Revelo Ventures might be involved, but did not disclose further details for security reasons. To make up for the losses, Drakon has given up his interests in Revelo, and 30% of the company’s profits will be used to compensate affected members. Former COO Vu Benson will take over as Revelo Intel’s new CEO.
